Sex Therapy

Sex therapy supports people as they explore the patterns and roots of sexual challenges, and helps a new blueprint emerge for finding pleasure in your body. Many of us come from cultures where talking about sex was taboo, which may have made it difficult for you to understand your sexual wants and needs. Sex therapy can begin the process of releasing that shame.

In addition to talk therapy, sessions may include mindfulness exercises to support body awareness and relaxation, education on sexual health, a more thorough sexual history assessment, and learning new communication skills.

Iā€™m particularly passionate about supporting individuals and couples who:

  • want to heal from sexual violence and learn how to find pleasure in their bodies again

  • are struggling with pain during sex (aka vaginismus or pelvic pain disorder)

  • are exploring and navigating kink and BDSM dynamics
